NCAA Tolerance Testing

On February 25, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) decided to relax their marijuana testing policies by increasing the amount of THC needed to be found in an athlete to produce a positive test. The previous threshold for a positive test of 35 nanograms per milliliter was increased to 150 nanograms per milliliter. The change became effective immediately and was retroactively applied to all drug tests taken in the fall semester of 2021.
